Christmas 2009!

Well, Christmas has come and gone....what a fun time we had. Its pretty great to be Quincy right now....birthday and Christmas all in one week! He has lots of new toys to play with, a few favorite movies for us to watch over and over and lots of great memories of good times with family and friends.

A couple of days before Christmas, we strolled down Peacock Lane, a famous Portland street that really does it up for Christmas....it was cold, and fun!

We spent Christmas Eve with Quincy's buddy Preston and his family. Lots of fun. The boys both got Mickey Mouse pj's!

We could barely get Quincy to stop running around long enough to take a photo!

Christmas morning was amazing! Quincy just couldn't get over the idea of Santa coming to our house. He was so excited that Santa ate the cookie we left him and actually brought him Choo Choo Express (the toy you see on the floor).

Here is Quincy checking out all that Santa left in his stocking...fun!

Quincy's new niece Malaya came over for Christmas breakfast. Here she is with her grandpa.

We had Christmas dinner at Quincy's brother Brandon's house (far left). Here he is with all his brothers and dad....what a good looking bunch of boys!

Quincy's Birthday Bash!

Quincy's birthday party was a blast! We hosted all of Quincy's friends and their parents for a Friday Night Dance Party with Quincy's dad as the DJ. The kids danced it up! We all had a great time!

Dancing and running around!

Singing Happy Birthday to Quincy!

Opening gifts....that was overwhelming!

Mickey Mouse Cake....yes, Quincy's mom and her fantastic friend Maria made this cake!

All the kids checking out Quincy's gifts!

And to end the night, Quincy's niece Lilly got to sleep over! So much fun!

We are also pleased to announce that Quincy's niece Malaya was born....on December 17th, just 10 minutes before midnight and Quincy's birthday!

Here she is!

Christmas is coming!

The activities are just beginning for Christmas and Quincy's birthday! The rest of the month will fly by with fun things happening. We had our first trip to see Santa this weekend. And enjoyed a sleigh ride too. This is Quincy's friend Hannah below, (second from the right) and some of her friends.....they are all five! Notice how Quincy is almost as big as them!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had a great time this year. On Sunday, the Scott family had their big family dinner. Quincy's cousin/buddy Khaleed was there, so even though he wasn't feeling great yet, he was happy to see him.

We had friends over for Thanksgiving dinner. Quincy pals Preston, Donovan and Deacon all came over with their moms and dads. Thanksgiving dinner with four 3 year old boys....wow! Good times!
Quincy's daddy helping Quincy and Preston set the kid's table.

Three of the monkeys jumping on the bed!

Dinner! They sat down for about 5 minutes!

This is Quincy's room after all the boys were in their playing....crazy!

Bye Bye Tonsils and Adenoids!

Quincy got through his surgery yesterday. It was rough but at least its over and he can begin healing. The doc said his adenoid and tonsils were huge so we did the right thing by taking them out.

This is in admitting, early in the morning. They gave him a stuffed animal and of course he had Minnie with him too!

Getting ready for surgery. Nervous!

They have him "happy juice" to make it easier for him to say goodbye. He got very silly!

Finally sleeping after a rough morning of pain and being confused about what had happened.

Halloween!

We had a great Halloween. Seems like it lasted all week! Quincy's school party was on Wednesday, we made carmel apples with Preston that night too and then of course trick or treating with a big group of friends. Lots of fun!!

Making Carmel Apples! Yum!

Party at school, making a Halloween craft.

Quincy's school friends....so cute!

Frosting Halloween cookies with teacher Brooke....Quincy loves her!

Trick or Treating! Quincy's first time. He got a little spooked by some of the scarier costumes but for the most part, had a great time. Notice Minnie in his bucket. She had to come along. The trick or treaters are Donovan, Quincy, Ava, Preston and Ethan. All Quincy's good friends. He is lucky to have so many friends at his age!

My favorite picture! Quincy the lion is showing his roar with all the boys looking on. Hilarious!

Swim Lessons and Undies!

Quincy is taking swim lessons with his buddy Preston. They are both doing awesome in the water and listening to their teacher...most of the time!

Quincy is also potty training and doing awesome! He also has some new rainboots so as you'll see in this pic, they are his two favorite things to wear....with no pants of course!

And just had to share these last two picturs...Mr Cool! And the bottom one just shows how much he is growing up....looks like such a big boy!

Quincy's Uncle Brent and Aunt Karen are visiting and we are having a great time. We had another sunny trip to the Oregon Coast! The weather was amazing and we played in the water
and had a great time.

Below, Quincy is learning all about the sea life at the coast!

Quincy's friend Ethan turned 3 years old this weekend and his mom threw him a Mexican Fiesta....fun! They hit pinatas, ate tacos and even got to take home Sombraros!
