At the Zoo.....

We went to the zoo this weekend with our friends Wendy and Hannah. We had a great time. Quincy has only been to the zoo one time before and he was not walking yet. So, this time, he and Hannah walked almost the entire time. It was fun and Quincy was exhausted after a full morning of animal watching. He even said the word "animal" several times! We went through the petting zoo and Quincy petted a sheep! Here are some pictures.

Basketball with Dad

Quincy and his dad played their first game of basketball this week. I am sure there are many more games like this in our future! Yes, we are starting him young but he is tall so we are trying to capitalize on that! (Remember if you click on the photos, you can see them better).

And of course, a trip to the park wouldn't be complete without a few trips down the slide!

A Weekend of "Firsts"

This weekend has been full of first experiences for Quincy and his mom. We started off the weekend on Friday morning at storytime where, for the first time, Quincy broke another kid's toy. Yep, popped the top right off of a 2 years old's truck. The kid handled it pretty well and Quincy just wanted to keep on playing. Now Mom has to bring a new truck to storytime next week....or find a new storytime!

Then Saturday morning, he was being a little too quiet and he was found eating his dad's deodorant....another first! And a first for Mom too...talking to poison control. Lesson learned...if they are quiet....they are up to no good! Good news, poison control said he would be okay...phew!

After a morning at swim lessons, we hurried to a birthday party for Quincy's cousin Khaled. It was at Gymboree. We hadn't been there before, it is just a big playroom, lots of fun. Here are a few pictures....
