Grandi's Visit to Portland

Quincy's Grandi came to visit him for two weeks! They bonded immediately and were inseperable for the rest of the trip! It was amazing to see how much Quincy changed in just two weeks. He is saying so many more words now and according to his Grandi he is the "smartest kid on the planet"!

We had a lot of fun while Grandi was here. We took a trip to the Oregon coast. Unfortunately, as you can see from this photo of us on the beach, it was cold, rainy and windy! Typical for a day at the Oregon beach!

Grandi got to see all of Quincy's friends when they played at the park. The sandbox was a hit!

One of the most exciting parts of the trip was seeing Barack Obama at his rally in Portland. This is a picture of us in downtown Portland with the 80,000 other supporters....wow! We saw him get out of his bus and screamed like schoolgirls.

Finally, Quincy tried a new food while Grandi was in town. Watermelon....it was a hit!

And after all of those adventures.....he is EXHAUSTED! Check out that belly!

Sorry to not post something for so long, I guess we have been busy!

Our trip to Utah wasn't quite what we expected, Quincy was really sick...darn! But, we did get to go to the farm and see the calves and Quincy had fun seeing his aunts, uncles, grandpa and grandma, cousins, etc. He also loved feeding KC his snacks.

Still spending time with Quincy's baby group friends which gets even more fun as they get older and actually play together. I can't believe we got them to sit still for picture on the step. And of course Quincy loved to play piano with Ryan!

And lastly, Quincy is truly his dad's son....he loves BBQ! Pictured his is one of the three (!!) ribs that he ate during his grandma's 75th birthday party.

Lots more adventures to come. Grandi is visiting for two weeks and we are going to the beach and the zoo so we'll post more pictures soon!
